I plan my menus out for the month. I use Open Office on my computer and I found a great tool for planning my meals online (This link is for Excel). It is a spreadsheet that I customized with meals that we fix. Sometimes I will list side dishes with the main dish.
We generally serve at least two vegetables at a meal and or a fruit with a vegetable. This time of year we are short of vegetables, so it is just one with a salad or fruit. We also serve soup twice a week with fresh bread, rolls, biscuits, or corn bread. We have been trying to eat fish once a week also. It will vary between Tilapia, trout, cat fish, or salmon.
