Blueberry Muffins

I can’t remember where I got this recipe.  I like them because they are not that sweet.  I have also substituted the blueberries with raspberries and blackberries.

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

1 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
2 Tablespoons sugar

Sprinkle the 2 Tablespoons of sugar over the blueberries.  Mix gently and let sit while you combine the rest of the ingredients.  Gently fold in the blueberry/sugar mixture.  Pour into greased muffin pans and bake at 400º for 25 minutes.
