Country Corn Bread

Country corn bread

I can’t remember where I got this recipe.  It has become our favorite corn bread recipe.  {print recipe}

1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup oil

Combine all ingredients.  Mix until blended.  Pour into greased 9×9 pan.  Bake at 425º for 25-30 minutes.
